About me
Helen Benton has worked at the Texas School for the Blind for nine years. After studying Special Education at the University of Texas, she worked as a high school self contained classroom teacher and attended the Texas Tech University VI certification program. Helen has primarily focused on creating accessible and individualized strategies to help all learners access academic content. Teaching math and science in meaningful nonvisual ways is her professional passion.
